I'm sorry, my friends! I have run into a bit of trouble lately. Let me explain.

My grandfather, whom I was very close to, passed away as of two weeks ago. So things have been extremely stressful on my part. Although his funeral, which was held in Red Lodge, Montana, was one of the funniest things I've ever been to in my life. However, since I was up in Montana, I could not post a new video. This makes things difficult since I haven't posted a video for about a month now. ... Or however long it's been. Can someone get me a calendar on here? Why can't I have a secretary? Jeez... Ah well.

Monster Hunter Tri music video/promo? Welllllll... That's hit a lot of road bumps. However, I'm still planning on doing it. Give me until this Saturday. I know now what's gone wrong with it every time. So now I can fix it. It's just going to be extremely difficult getting everything to work out fine. My way of filming things is very... unique, judging by the quality of the videos. But, yeah, expect it to be out by this Saturday. So the 20th of November. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Let's do a rundown of what happened a week and a half ago when I was supposed to post a video. I made a video journal, but since it was over ten minutes, YouTube rejected it. Ah well. I am making a Podcast which will air every fortnight on iTunes that the videos aren't airing on YouTube. Let's do a schedule, shall we?

So that's all I have planned for now. Trust me, as each day passes, I get more and more ideas. Please be understanding if that schedule is not followed exactly like that. I want to try some things other than video games, too. Some of you might remember Candid Gaming or whatever the heck I called it. Yeah, I'm bringing that back only with funnier times and better video games. You'll enjoy it, I think. If not, I don't really give a banana. These videos are to entertain my friends, family, and me. =)

Wanna discuss the Podcast? Yeah, I think that'd be a good idea. Starting on November 27th, you can go on iTunes and search "Midnight Shadows" and you'll be able to listen to audio journals, watch video journals, or whatever. Lol I'm not really sure what I'm doing with it yet, okay? But, I'm planning on having family members and friends on it. It'll be fun.

So those next few weeks December 4th, some of you guys might love me while others hate me. =) It's going to be a freaking Halo Fest. I'm excited for it.

Oh, and expect some Machinimas to take place soon. Heck, even some Abridged series. xD I'm so excited to expand my areas of film! It's gonna be a lot of fun.

Schedules

So here's the schedule for the video categories I'm going to be doing:


• Music Videos - Once a month

• Video Journals - Twice a week

• Updates - Whenever necessary



So I'll probably be adding more categories as time goes on. But, for now, those are the only categories.

I'm posting the first video journal as we speak. Expect another post in a couple hours once the video is public.

UPDATE

There's last week's video. I meant to post this on here awhile ago, but things got a little complicated.

In the video I said there would be a new video every two weeks. Well, I'm still hoping I can keep up with that. Our computer has a lot of problems... However! I am getting my own iMac for Christmas. It will be used strictly for video editing and stuff like that.

I also said that the Monster Hunter Tri video would be out in a month (three weeks from tomorrow, which is Saturday the 30th). I actually finished the rough cut the day after I posted this update. Sadly, as I was going through with the editing of the final cut, the video feed somehow became corrupted... So I was forced to start all over. Including filming everything again. Ah well. I have better/more ideas for the new version. So that will probably (I can't guarantee anything) be posted on Saturday, November 6th. Looking forward to it.

Well, that's all I got for you today. I'll probably post once more in the following week before the MH3 video airs.

So you decided to actually follow that link in the YouTube video? Or did you somehow listen to me if I told you about the blog in person? Ah well. Either way, you're here and that's what matters.



Shadowment, why the heck are you making another blog? You never keep up with
writing in them...



Well children, I have decided that I know what I actually want to do with my life. I seem to have a few very useful talents in this world. One of which is video editing and pretty much anything having to do with that. I really enjoy doing it and I can't wait to start going to school for it once I come back from my LDS mission.

Another talent: english, spelling, grammar, writing.

I am actually a frequent writer. I am gifted with the ability of correct grammar and spelling along with the passion to write.



So if I have the passion to write... Why do I suck at keeping up with blogs?

I can come up with a great number of reasons. First off, not many people seem interested in what I have to say on them. Another is I'm lazy and I really don't want to update it. Or I could just lie and say I'm much too busy to write in it.



We'll just stick with the truth.

I get bored of talking to myself in the blogs. No one comments, follows the blog, gives me ideas for something if I ask of it... The list goes on for a little longer. But those are the main reasons.



So why am I writing this blog and plan to stick with it?

Well, I have recently started my YouTube account back up and I've got some fancy new skills under my belt. I plan to start bringing my possible future fans here for a couple reasons.



I plan on posting a video every two weeks on YouTube. So let's call it the Shadowment Fortnight Video. I will post the video here in a link so you can watch every single one of my YouTube videos in reverse chronological order. Within the post that has the video, I will also be giving you a "behind the scenes" look on how the video was made, how I got the idea for the video and anything else I think you might want to know.

The playlist at the top of the page will contain the songs from the videos I have made already and the ones I plan on making. ;)



As I continue writing this, I am just getting more and more ideas for what I could do with this blog... I like it.

Since my way of filming is a bit... different, shall we say, I can't guarantee I can do your video. But heck, request it anyways and I'll get back to you if I can do it or not.
